A Message from our Founders
Traditionally, mental health and trauma therapy are often incorporated in the individuals’ first thirty days of treatment. This is an aspect of treatment that often leads to re-traumatizing the individual and results in relapse due to an absence in coping skills and living skills. Rise Wellness Center’s approach is to identify and stabilize traumas and co-occurring disorders, by teaching a person to be their own expert with coping skills and living skills, so that as ongoing treatment occurs outside of Rise Wellness Center the individual can utilize these skills to maintain stabilization and begin the process of deep trauma and/or deep co-occurring disorder therapy.
Treatment is a mixture of complex and delicate processes, which Rise Wellness Center navigates by delivering a menu of options, that are individualized to meet the needs of each patient. In concert with evidence-based practices, each individual in collaboration with their therapist will work to create a recovery program that incorporates a respectful approach to new ideas and serves the individual through motivation and ultimately what each person idealizes as their own recovery.
Rise Wellness Center understands that the reasons for the onset and perpetuation of addiction can be incredibly varied and what each person will need to recover will differ based on their substance dependence, length of use, and their own personal history. Our experienced professional staff is equipped to work with patients on all levels, from those with a co-occurring disorder, to patients working to overcome challenging circumstances or events in their lives.
Our everyday responses to our circumstances are not separate from our decision making, core beliefs, thoughts, and reactions. To ensure the needs of all of our patients are met, we offer daily treatment options within the course of our treatment process that are both generalized and specific. Individual Counseling three times a week allows our patients the necessary time to identify underlying issues for their substance abuse and work through them in a healthy manner. Group therapy including Harm Reduction Techniques, Codependency, DBT Skills and Techniques, CBT Skills and Techniques and Grief and Loss; help patients focus on specific issues in a positive and supportive environment. They are given the space and support they need so that they can work through and learn to cope with anything that may challenge their desire to maintain their new-found freedom from substance use.
Our Mission
“TO GET SOMETHING DONE IS TO BEGIN…”
We seek to enhance the lives of those persons suffering from the disease of addiction. We believe that effective detox and treatment “begins by acknowledging that the health and dignity of the individual reigns supreme.” We are people treating people, humans treating humans with discernment and a non-dogmatic approach. Treatment begins to take form through the preferences, values and cultural background of each individual client. Unique is each client’s motivation to begin a process of change and how one designs their course of action in concert with the treatment professionals is truly dependent upon mutual collaboration.
Our programs are designed to treat the “whole” individual, emotionally, physically and spiritually. What we encourage here at Rise Wellness Center is the individual’s growth, family integration and support, which seeks to benefit not only our clients but extends to future support and compassion towards recovery throughout our communities.
